Kohrman Jackson and Krantz (KJK) is seeking an experienced Client Service Coordinator to join the firm full-time in our Columbus office. This in-house position supports the Partner-in-Charge in Columbus, as well as additional attorneys in the Columbus office, and assists with a variety of administrative functions.

With offices in Cleveland and Columbus, KJK serves companies of all sizes and sectors, including Fortune 500 corporations, nonprofits, mid-market companies, small businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare correspondence, legal memoranda, pleadings, and other documents in both draft and final form from dictation, handwritten material, and typed copy
  • Monitor, prioritize, organize, and facilitate daily workflow to meet project deadlines, including scheduling meetings and depositions, coordinating travel arrangements, and managing calendars
  • Draft, process, and serve legal documents, including electronically filing pleadings with state and federal courts and agencies
  • Prepare document productions (including PDF compilation and Bates stamping) and deposition and trial exhibits
  • Maintain extensive contact and interaction with clients
  • Perform administrative duties, including running conflict checks; opening and managing case files; entering time; handling monthly billing; reviewing pre-bills; and reconciling credit card statements
  • Handle office administrative duties such as ordering lunches for team and client meetings, distributing office mail, ordering supplies, and maintaining office stock
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills or Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant legal assistance work experience in a law firm supporting a litigation practice group
  • Excellent grammar and punctuation skills
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when editing documents
  • Ability to organize work, establish priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, Net Documents, Outlook, Foxit Phantom PDF, Aderant and Expert Assistant.
