• Provide lease analyst support to the Land Department. Process new leases, contracts, drafts, and assignments including file setup, mapping, and computer input.
• Recording, copying, and transmittal of correspondence to Houston Land Administration (HLA).
• Monthly review of calendars (obligations, rentals, expirations, elections, etc.) with Landmen.
• Prepare check requests for assignments, agreements, etc.
• Prepare various monthly Land Reports.
• Follow-up on inquiries from HLA and landowners.
• Assist in preparation of various regulatory applications.
• Title research and curative as directed by Landmen.
• Assist in preparation of various documents.

• 2+ years of oil & gas land experience preferred.
• Must be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to handle a heavy workload and meet critical deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software. Knowledge of Arc View and Dwight's PI is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
