Join the Civil/Municipal team at The Mannik & Smith Group as a Project Manager Assistant and play a key role in keeping our projects moving forward.
As part of the Civil/Municipal Engineering team, you’ll support Project Managers with the coordination, organization, and day-to-day operations that keep complex civil/municipal projects on track. If you excel at managing details, communicating clearly, and staying one step ahead, this role offers a chance to make an immediate impact on project success.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a PMA, you’ll provide critical operational and administrative support that keeps project delivery running smoothly.
Project Coordination & Communication- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and project communications
- Serve as a central point of contact for project teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Track deadlines and milestones to ensure timely delivery
- Manage and maintain project documentation and records
- Support logistics for project activities
- Assist with compliance tasks and audit preparation
- Monitor project progress and help keep teams aligned
- Assist with contract management and internal coordination
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project team members
- Assist with project budgeting and forecasting
- Track project costs and allocations
- Serve as the biller in the invoicing cycle
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with project management software and MS Office tools
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy
- A team-oriented, service-focused approach to supporting project needs
