Utilities Right of Way Agent - Columbus, OH

Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Location
:
Columbus, OH (candidate will have the flexibility to work out of their home office but must reside within a 60-mile commute of the Columbus, OH office and will report as requested)

Schedule
:
Full-time, Exempt

Travel
:
Candidate can expect to travel locally and throughout Ohio about 50% of the time.

What You’ll Do
  • Acquire Right‑of‑Way rights for distribution and electrical transmission and distribution line projects in accordance with project guidelines and regulations
  • Support the Project Manager (PM) and project team members
  • Prepare real estate documents
  • Conduct basic property research for ownership and boundary information
  • Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition
  • Perform general administrative tasksli>

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of one (1) year of Right of Way Acquisition experience
  • Active Ohio Notary OR ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems
  • Valid Driver’s License
