Accounting Manager

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Our client is hiring an Accounting Manager to oversee general ledger accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and month‑end close. This hybrid role requires strong leadership, technical accounting skills, and the ability to mentor a team. A CPA is preferred.

• Manage general ledger accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and closing processes.
• Supervise staff accountants, review work, and support their development.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
• Oversee AP, AR, fixed assets, and cash processes as needed.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Prepare documentation for external audits.
• Lead process improvements and system enhancements to optimize workflows.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and leadership teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities.
• CPA preferred (active, inactive, or in progress).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with modern ERP systems (SAP, Net Suite, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
