California Licensed Senior Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support an entertainment client in Los Angeles on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities Oversee and refine the royalties process for accurate revenue allocation and recognition using Net Suite Perform extensive data manipulation and normalization of large datasets using advanced Excel techniques Collaborate with a team to manage daily accounting tasks, including royalties management and financial reporting

Required Qualifications and Education Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in formulas and data manipulation Experience working with large datasets and normalization techniques Solid understanding of accounting principles, especially revenue recognition and allocation Familiarity with Net Suite and accounting related to film/media rights is preferred Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
