Job Summary
A local CPA firm is seeking a detail‑oriented Data Entry Specialist to assist during tax season. This role focuses on accurately entering individual tax return information into the firm’s tax preparation software while meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Enter individual tax return data into the firm’s tax software with accuracy and efficiency
- Input information from W‑2s, 1099s, K‑1s, and other tax documents
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper tax files
- Follow firm procedures to ensure confidentiality and data security
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Basic understanding of individual tax forms preferred
- Proficiency with computers and data entry systems; tax software experience a plus
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow instructions
