The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for managing all accounts payable functions for Connect Housing Blocks. This role ensures accurate, timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and expense documentation while maintaining strong internal controls. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This position requires hands-on experience with Quick Books, proficiency in Excel, and flexibility to assist with other accounting and administrative duties as needed.

• Process high-volume accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and entry into Quick Books
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation, resolving discrepancies as needed
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
• Maintain accurate vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely, professional manner
• Reconcile accounts payable subledger to the general ledger
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable
• Maintain organized digital and physical AP files and supporting documentation
• Support compliance with company policies and basic accounting controls
• Assist with audits by gathering AP documentation and responding to requests
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate expense tracking and approvals
• Perform other accounting, administrative, or finance-related duties as assigned

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• 1–3 years of accounts payable experience preferred
• Hands-on experience using Quick Books required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, sorting, and reconciliation)
