Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform month‑end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide meaningful commentary to leadership.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing required schedules and documentation.
• Review accounts payable and accounts receivable activity to ensure proper coding and accuracy.
• Support process improvements, workflow documentation, and internal control enhancements.
• Assist with special projects and ad‑hoc financial analysis as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting.
• Experience with month‑end close processes and account reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
