Accounting Specialist
Visible local non-profit organization is seeking support of an Accounting Specialist to assist with department reconciliations.
Salary Range: $50,000- $55,000
ABOUT THE COMPANY

- Contribute with your keen eye for detail as the Accounting Specialist
- Location is conveniently close to multiple major highways for quick commute
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:
- The Accounting Specialist will focus on reconciling and posting changes:
- Reconcile credit card and bank statements
- Reconcile payroll entries and other journal entries for accuracy
- Identify issues and correct account posting, as needed
- The Accounting Specialist will assist with posting journal entries and other accounting projects
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:
- Accounting Specialist must have extensive experience with reconciliations
- General accounting experience sufficient to complete the tasks listed above
- Intermediate Excel skills - ability to perform Pivot Tables is a plus, not a must
- Preferred candidate will have a keen eye for detail and disposition to work diligently
