Accounting Consultant

Location: Onsite – Columbus Area, WI

Work Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $30–$50 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Consultant to support its finance and operations teams following a recent ERP implementation. This temporary, hands-on role will focus on stabilizing day-to-day accounting operations across accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, inventory, and purchasing. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and able to quickly adapt in a fast-paced post-implementation environment.

• Provide hands-on accounting support using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
• Process and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and customer invoicing
• Support inventory accounting, including reconciliation and transaction review
• Assist with purchasing and order-related accounting activities
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial data flow between production, warehouse, and finance
• Identify process gaps and recommend workflow improvements
• Support ad hoc accounting and operational projects as needed

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of accounting processes within an ERP system
• Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, post-implementation environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
