Staff Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Staff Accountant with at least 1-2 years of experience or solid internship experience. This position is close to downtown Columbus, Ohio. Pay for this position will range between $50K to $62K annually.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insights.
• Participate in audits by providing necessary documentation and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Internship or prior experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
