Position Summary

RVMP is seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Recovery Specialist to support the Finance team. This role is responsible for managing vendor recovery efforts while also supporting core accounting operations. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, resolving vendor discrepancies, and strengthening vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working across multiple accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.

• Support daily accounting activities, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare, process, and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile vendor accounts and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month‑end close processes
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for internal review

• Lead vendor recovery efforts, including tracking, researching, and resolving credits, claims, and reimbursements
• Communicate directly with vendors to reconcile open balances and recover outstanding credits
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as Purchasing and Operations to resolve vendor‑related issues
• Maintain detailed documentation of recovery activities and identify opportunities for process improvements
