Responsibility
- Manage account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies across AP and related accounts.
- Review and process complex AP transactions while ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Investigate AP exceptions, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support the AP Manager and Controller in refining processes and improving accuracy in reporting.
- Supervise temporary or contract accounting staff during special assignments.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and variance analysis.
- Develop and document best practices for reconciliations and AP workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in accounts payable or accounting operations.
- Strong reconciliation experience and demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
The Accounts Payable Analyst will take ownership of complex accounts payable and reconciliation functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Reporting to the AP Manager and partnering closely with the Controller, this role goes beyond invoice processing—focusing on resolving exceptions, improving processes, and providing analytical support to strengthen financial operations. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on problem-solving, takes initiative, and enjoys digging into the details to identify root causes.
