Hybrid Work Model

Two locations for the Job - Columbus, OH & Pittsburgh, PA

• Review tax returns prepared by staff and make recommendations regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities.
• Maintain and develop strong client relationships across various tax consulting and compliance engagements.
• Work as part of a coordinated client service team, collaborating with other practice units to deliver industry insights to clients in diverse industries.
• Manage engagement workflow, engagement team resources, and billing processes.
• Provide leadership, counseling, and career guidance to support the development and motivation of the engagement team.
• Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues and their implications.
• Review engagement profitability and prepare and analyze monthly billing for assigned engagements.
• Stay informed about current and proposed tax legislation, communicate potential impacts to clients, and assist with planning.
• Represent the firm and build relationships by attending fundraisers, networking events, and meetings with prospects, bankers, and professional organizations.
• Demonstrate strong analytical abilities and proficiency in accounting and tax software.
• Collaborate on internal initiatives that support firm growth, enhance culture, develop technical tax content, and advance technology.

• CPA, J.D., LL.M., or Master’s in Taxation.
• Minimum of five years of public accounting experience in tax.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to develop business and foster client relationships.
• Excellent writing, communication, and tax research skills.
