Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction and network installation business, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Teammate located in our Columbus, Ohio Corporate Office.

Team Fishel is an 89-year-old privately held company with a strong reputation in the industry. This Accounts Payable position is a key role, working closely with multiple departments and supporting our field operations across nearly 40 offices in 15 states.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Reliability
• Entry-level experience in accounts payable
• Quick learner with a desire to grow
• Multitasking skills
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong internet research skills;
  Google Worksheets experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Organized with attention to detail and follow-up
• People-oriented with enthusiasm and energy
• Availability for occasional overtime

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the Accounts Payable Manager and department with vendor support, paperwork verification, vendor maintenance, check runs, and statement reconciliation
• Assisting other administrative departments such as HR, Legal, and Finance
• Maintaining effective communication with vendors and teammates, and identifying improvement opportunities
