Key Responsibilities- Fit, tack, and weld steel parts to create finished sub-assemblies, following blueprints using FCAW & GMAW.
- Perform welding on steel ranging from thin gauge material to 1" plate.
- Prepare weld joints by cleaning and setting up surfaces, adjusting machine parameters, and selecting proper welding techniques for each project.
- Produce high-quality, visually acceptable welds that meet all inspection and quality standards.
- Safely use and maintain welding equipment, and follow safety rules for overhead cranes, forklifts and other machinery.
- Complete other tasks as needed.
4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Monday-Thursday (Shift Differential applies)

- Ability to weld in all positions, flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Read 1/8" and 1/16" gradations on tape measure
- Experience with grinders, handheld plasma torch, oxyacetylene torch, and other related handtools
- Capable of welding to 3G certification (AWS D1.1)
- Comfortable working with computer-based drawings and schematics
- Preferred 5+ years of fitting experience
