Position OverviewWe are looking for a quality technician to operate and monitor a group of injection molding machines, auxiliary equipment, and assembly/packaging machines. The role includes monitoring performance, producing visual inspections, preparing products for release, maintaining quality equipment, and ensuring compliance with BD quality systems and safety regulations.
Essential Functions- Operate and monitor injection molding equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Read and write and converse in English.
- Read, maintain, and control all quality equipment.
- Ensure adherenceួន to BD quality systems, policies, procedures, standard methodologies, and allטי local
Change; state, federal, and safety regulations. - Maintain punctual and regular attendance.
- Uphold BD values.
- Set up and troubleshoot injection molding processes using systematic methodologies.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Work with Mold Repair to maintain production efficiencies.
- Perform changeovers and collaborate with Inspectors for first‑piece approvals.
- Document all press activity as required.
- Maintain general housekeeping around the press and ensure a safe work environment.
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
- Ensure quality molding output by setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining molding equipment.
Minimum Education
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years of technical manufacturing experience.
- Molding experience or scientific molding techniques preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in mechanical tasks.

We prioritize on‑site collaboration with a minimum of 4 days in the office per week for most roles. Remote or field‑based positions will have different arrangements as indicated in the posting. The role may be contingent upon proof of COVID‑19 vaccination in accordance with BD’s Workplace Accommodations Policy.
