The City of Columbus has current summer job openings and is accepting applications for the positions shown below.
Summer Maintenance WorkersPositions involve mowing, digging, sweeping, painting, and any other duties needed to maintain city properties. The positions are for the Street, Park, Cemetery, and Water Department. Work will start in May and continue into August. Must be at least 18 years of age. Will work 40 hours per week with possible overtime. Starting pay is $14.00/hour.
Transfer Station Grass Yard AttendantPosition will be at the Transfer Station as Grass Yard Attendant. The work schedule is every third week, Monday through Sunday, starting April working through November.
- Monday – Friday 5:00pm – 8:15pm
- Saturday – 12:15pm – 6:15pm
- Sunday – 1:00pm – 6:15pm
Must be at least 18 years of age. Starting pay is $14.00/hour.
