Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Home Administrator to join our team at Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest level of care and service is provided to our residents. Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the quality of care and services provided
  • Manage and supervise a team of nursing and support staff, providing guidance and coaching as needed
  • Collaborate with the medical director and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care and treatment plans are implemented
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, including hospitals, physicians, and other healthcare providers
  • Monitor and manage facility budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Conduct performance evaluations and address employee issues and concerns in a fair and timely manner
  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and well-maintained condition
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Valid state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
