Overview
Manufacturing Engineer Technologist (Entry-Level) Next FX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technologist to support our manufacturing operations through process development, production support, and continuous improvement. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
About the RoleUnder the guidance of experienced supervisors, you’ll work both on the shop floor and in the office to support production lines, troubleshoot processes, collect data, and help implement improvements that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, monitor, and improve manufacturing processes and production lines
- Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues
- Prepare and update work instructions, process documentation, and standard procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing projects
- Support new product introductions and process changes
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational guidelines
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and process documentation
- Internship, co-op, or lab experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- CAD (Autodesk), CAM, CNC, and 3D printing
- Exposure to PLCs and basic robotic programming is a plus
- Strong interest in hands-on manufacturing and process improvement
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
