Join our family-owned service team as an entry-level Generator Service Technician. This position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding career while learning from experienced professionals who take pride in quality work and building lasting customer relationships.
Primary Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance on residential and commercial generators
- Assist senior technicians with installations and repairs
- Complete detailed service documentation and maintenance records
- Maintain organized service vehicle and equipment inventory
- Follow safety procedures and maintain clean work areas
- Build and maintain positive customer relationships
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs
- Respond to service calls during assigned on- call rotation
- Basic mechanical and/or electrical experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to learn and operate diagnostic equipment
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Comfort working in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical school education preferred but not required
- Prior mechanical/electrical experience preferred
- Military experience in related fields welcomed
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Professional appearance and courteous demeanor
- Team-oriented attitude
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
- Climbing ladders and working at heights
- Bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40.0 per week
