Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate assigned operations
  • Supervise, train, and mentor employees
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 and internal quality standards
  • Monitor schedules and workflow to meet delivery targets
  • Perform and oversee setup, operation, and troubleshooting in assigned area
  • Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture
  • Review work instructions, engineering drawings, and specifications
  • Identify process inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams
  • Support audits, inspections, and corrective actions
  • Report production metrics and elevate risks or issues as needed
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (technical degree or certification preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing
  • Previous leadership or lead-level experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of aerospace materials, processes, and tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret processes and procedures
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace quality systems
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with CNC machining, composites, or aerospace assembly
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience supporting AS9100 and ISO audits
