Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Senior Aircraft Technician - Sheet metal to join our MAR/Retro team based in Columbus, MS. You will be part of the team to install sheet metal parts and assemblies in aircraft, ensuring installations are attached without endangering aircraft structure or systems operations and functions.

- Install sheet metal parts and assemblies in aircraft; ensure installations are attached without compromising aircraft structure or systems operations and functions.
- Fit and assemble skins, frames, and other components, including drilling, fitting, and riveting of sub-assemblies such as tail booms and stabilizers.
- Assist in developing patterns or templates to simplify manufacturing processes and ensure proper dimensions.
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience working on aircraft sheet metal, preferably rotorcraft.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams, and apply standard shop practices in fabrication and repair of aircraft structures and repairs.
- Current A&P license is a plus.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Onsite: 95%
- Physical and sensory requirements as described in the job posting, including vision, hearing, speaking, equipment operation, lifting/carrying, standing, walking, and travel (up to 5%).
- Onsite: 95%
- Vision: able to see and read computer screens and engineering drawings
- Hearing: able to hear conversations, alarms, and safety warnings
- Speaking: able to participate in conversations and meetings
- Equipment Operation: capable of operating office equipment and production tools
- Carrying/Lifting: up to 30 lbs (14 kg)
- Pushing/Pulling, Sitting, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking: as described in the original role
- Travel: up to 5%
- Personal Protective Equipment required: PPE as specified by site and/or customer site
- Authorized to Work in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship
