Columbus Orthopaedic Clinic, established in 1977, has evolved into a team of skilled orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and specialists dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care. Our multidisciplinary team includes experts in orthopedic surgery, sports medicine, spine care, pain management, occupational and physical therapy. We treat a wide range of conditions, from sports injuries and general orthopedic issues to chronic pain management and urgent care needs.

Our priority is to facilitate safe and efficient recovery, starting with conservative, non-surgical treatments and utilizing surgery only when absolutely necessary.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physical Therapist based in Columbus, MS. The Physical Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients recovering from injuries or surgery, managing chronic conditions, and improving mobility. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, providing rehabilitation therapy, and educating patients on exercise programs and home care practices. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care to restore function and enhance the quality of life of our patients.

Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
  • Strong background in orthopedics is preferred
  • Experience in Home Care and implementing personalized care plans
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and a multidisciplinary team
  • Active Physical Therapy license in Mississippi or eligibility to obtain one
  • Doctorate or degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic or rehabilitation setting is an advantage
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
