Performs basic polysomnographic testing and associated interventions under the direct supervision of the clinical director or medical director. May verify insurance, enter patient admission information into the HBO system, and provide supervision of other staff. Subject to overtime and callback as required. Reports to the Director of the Sleep Center. Performs other duties as assigned.

Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography OR completion of a polysomnography program of no less than one year duration associated with a state-licensed and/or nationally accredited educational facility or equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician AND certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent.

• Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Computer literacy skills

BLS certification within 14 days of hire; BRPT certification preferred.
