Job Description

Rehabilitation Nurse Unit Manager role: oversee operations of a rehabilitation unit, ensuring high‑quality patient care while managing the nursing team and other staff.

The Belmont Health & Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing facility located in Columbus, Indiana. We seek a compassionate Rehabilitation Nurse Unit Manager to join our team with a primary goal of providing exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, directing and managing the nursing services department under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services.
• Assist with implementing plans of action to correct deficiencies.
• Maintain open communication with nursing management regarding conditions on the nursing unit and concerns related to staff, residents and visitors.
• Assist with developing and implementing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services.
• Supervise/manage personnel on the unit.

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed by the State of Indiana as an RN or LPN.
• Experienced or trained in nursing services administration, rehabilitation or geriatric nursing.
