Travel RN - Med​/Surg - Wound​/Ostomy Care

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with WOCN certification for a Wound Ostomy Continence role utilizing Epic EMR and providing specialized care Monday through Friday.

Job Details

• Position based in IV Therapy/WOCN serving all inpatient units including ICU, step-down, and med/surg,

• Care for patients with wounds, ostomies, drains, fistulas, and continence disorders,

• Responsibilities span acute, rehabilitative, and consultative care settings,

• Uses Epic EMR for documentation,

• WOCN cart for dressing and ostomy care is provided,

• Primary schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday,

• Limited weekend call required,

• No floating to other departments but will address skin issues hospital-wide,

Job Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license in hand,

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required,

• WOCN Certification required,

• Minimum 2 years of WOC nursing experience,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Primary responsibilities include assessment and management of wounds, ostomies, stomas, and continence disorders,

• Expected to provide education and support to patients and staff regarding skin, wound, and ostomy care,

• Works collaboratively as an educator, consultant, and care provider,

• Unit-specific training provided, including Epic EMR and orientation with current WOCN nurse,

• Attire may be scrubs or business casual, with scrubs preferred,
