Processing Associates are Tipton team members who support Packagers and Leads in fulfilling customer commitments, blend ingredients as needed, and work in a manner that prevents injury. A Processing Associate will collect powder ingredients from the warehouse, follow a recipe, weigh bags, load them into a blender, and follow directions for how long to blend them. This role is physically active.

Applicants must be able to lift 60 lbs repeatedly, and be willing to get dusty from powder. Processing positions are available at entry level, mid-level and experienced.

• Powdered beverage manufacturing (hot cocoa, toddler formula, sports nutrition, protein powders, coffee and tea)
• Collect ingredients from the warehouse, weigh bags, and load into blender; follow blending instructions and times
• Machine work including blending of product
• Cleaning machines (blender) and work area
• Operate within required time frames; maintain exactness in product formulation
• Inventory management
• Minimal data entry
• Able to lift, push or pull 60 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the shift
• Able to stand for 8-10 hours

• Entry Level wage: $15.00/hr increases with experience.
• Second shift differential +$1.00/hr = $16.00/hr.
• Bonus programs:
  Perfect weekly attendance bonus (+$2.00/hr).
• Monthly incentive dependent on plant performance.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• English fluency
• Solution driven; can-do attitude
• Read, write and understand written and verbal instructions
• Physically able to lift large bags of ingredients
• Approach all aspects of work with safety as the highest priority
• Strong commitment to learning manufacturing processes and operating machinery with a desire to advance with the company
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and provide suggestions for operation improvement
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is a plus
• Spanish fluency is a plus
• Factory experience is required to be considered
• Construction, concrete work, outdoor labor, and/or previous food processing experience is preferred

• Located in Columbus, IN
• First Shift: Five 8's. Monday – Friday 7:00a-3:30p
• Second Shift: Four 10's. Monday – Thursday 3:30p – 2:00a. Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
