Join the Tipton Mills Foods team as a Processing Associate!

Processing Associates are Tipton team members who support Packagers and Leads in fulfilling customer commitments, and blends ingredients as needed. A Processor will work in a manner to avoid injury, meet all requirements for food safety and quality, and meet processing goals. This role is manual labor. Processing positions are available at entry level, mid-level and experienced packaging and machine operators.

• This position is responsible for powdered beverage manufacturing (hot cocoa, sports nutrition, protein powders, coffee)
• These positions are located in Columbus, IN
• First and Second shifts available

• Light industrial work with some lifting requirements
• All indoor work; temperature-controlled environment
• Clean, food-manufacturing facility
• First Shift: Five 8 s. Monday – Friday 7:00a-3:30p
• Afternoon shift:
  Four 10 s. Monday – Thursday 3:30p – 2:00a. Off Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Voluntary OT

• Product weighing
• Machine work e.g. blending of product
• Cleaning machines (blender) and work area
• Tasks completed within acceptable time frame
• Exactness in product formulation
• Inventory management
• Minimal Data Entry
• Able to lift, push or pull 60 lbs. and stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift
• Able to stand 8-10 hours

• Entry Level wage: $15.00/hr increases with experience

• 12 PTO days/year

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Read, write and understand written and verbal instructions
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment a plus
• Approach all aspect of work with safety as the highest priority
• Have a strong commitment to learning manufacturing processes and operating machinery while possessing a desire to advance with the company
• Strongly maintaining a clean and organized work space and providing suggestions for operation improvement
