Chief Executive Officer (ASAP) – Columbus, IN

Columbus Regional Health (CRH) is seeking a distinguished, mission‑driven President & Chief Executive Officer to lead the system into growth and transformation. The role offers a dynamic, performance‑focused leader the ability to build upon CRH’s legacy, promote revitalization, improve financial performance, cultivate leadership talent, and enhance high‑quality, accessible healthcare delivery.

The President & CEO serves as the organization’s top executive, responsible for guiding strategy, operations, financial performance, and cultural direction. Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the CEO will:

• Oversee all system functions—including clinical operations, financial stewardship, workforce engagement, medical staff relations, and strategic growth.
• Collaborate closely with the Board, medical staff, and senior leadership team to advance organizational priorities.
• Lead efforts to strengthen organizational stability, improve operational performance, drive excellence in quality and safety, and position CRH for sustainable long‑term success.

• Master’s degree in hospital administration (MHA), business administration (MBA), or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or executive leadership capacity; prior CEO experience highly preferred.
• Experience with in an independent, community‑based health care environment.

Columbus Regional Health is an independent health system based in southcentral Indiana, with net patient revenue of approximately $509 million. It comprises more than 2,600 employees, nearly 200 physicians, and 150 volunteers. The system’s anchor facility, Columbus Regional Hospital, is a 225‑bed non‑profit providing emergency, surgical, and comprehensive specialty care.
