Analyze, design, and implement new, or modify existing, desktop computing infrastructure to meet ongoing research center needs. The Field Services Engineer will provide in-depth technical and/or business knowledge to handle complex issues and ensure desktop computing infrastructure and implementation meets business requirements, follows industry standards, and maintains data security. This role will apply knowledge of desktop computing infrastructure to meet research center and information management needs for a robust and fault tolerant network.
Note:
Role requires long periods of walking and standing up.
The Field Services Engineer will collaborate daily with data scientists and analysts in a team setting as well as 3rd party data providers to drive best practices and identify innovative strategies for successful data product delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure that the platform will be robust and scalable to handle increasing volumes and demands from data and analytics.
Three or more years of progressive industry experience with ability to support both Windows and MAC operating systems.
