Position OverviewThe Resident Care Associate (RCA) is responsible for delivering general non‑certified routine services in accordance with established procedures and may be directed by supervisors. This role is intended for candidates interested in pursuing training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
Key Responsibilities- Assist with housekeeping and laundry, including trash removal and changing unoccupied beds.
- Assist with all aspects of meal service, including transporting residents, tray delivery, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Provide excellent customer service, companionship, and communication with residents by responding to call lights promptly and checking in frequently.
- Assist with personal care responsibilities in accordance with state regulatory guidelines.
- Attend and participate in a training program leading to certification as a Nursing Assistant (C.N.A).
- High School Diploma or GED/HSE preferred.
- 0‑1 years of relevant experience preferred.
