Job SummaryReporting to the Head Football Coach and Club Coordinator, this position will program Intramural sports such as basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, volleyball, and travel with teams during tournaments representing Columbus State University. This position will have oversight of player recruitment for Intramural sport activities, train students to officiate and assist with the overall development, promotion, supervision, implementation, and evaluation of the Intramural sports program.
ResponsibilitiesProgram Area Duties
- Create leagues for all Intramural Sports.
- Maintain inventory for Intramural Sport equipment for indoor and outdoor use.
- Create a maintenance replacement plan for Intramural sport equipment.
- Develop relationships with vendors to enhance the quality and services offered in Intramural Sports.
- Manage the software program IM league which includes coordinating games for 40 different teams, recording scores, communication with teams, registration, setup, and cancellations documentation.
- Organize Pre game and post game setup for all sports in Fall, Spring and Summer seasons.
- Create field diagrams, string the dimensions of each sport, paint lines weekly for each sport.
- Remove and install the baseball nets, soccer goals, sport paneling.
- Coordinate all registration and travel for Intramural and extramural tournaments and manage the men or women team during overnight tournaments that are representing CSU.
- Assist in minimizing risk and enforcing risk management protocols.
- Market and promote Intramural programs.
- Assist with hiring, training, and supervision of Intramural officials and Scorekeepers.
- Develop work schedules, training materials, facilitate student meetings, evaluations, and oversight of student employees.
Current CPR, FA and AED certification or ability to obtain in 30 days.
Proposed Salary$15.80-$17.23

- Ability to travel and remain for oversight tournaments.
- Basic understanding of the Rec management software system Innosoft Fusion, Equest, and Cougar schedular.
- Ability to complete reports and assessments on all programs and services.
- Flexibility in working 3-4 evenings a week during academic year.
- Weekend shifts
- Ability to lift 20-30 lb. equipment.
- Valid Georgia License.
- Complete Van Training
- Safety and risk management involved with traveling.
