Market Manager – ILSCO/ERICO – Commercial USA Sales – Electrical Connections
Lead demand creation, product expertise, and revenue growth for our ILSCO/ERICO brands across the United States Commercial Market. This dynamic, strategic role requires a proven track record of partnering with sales teams to achieve targets in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Location:
Anywhere in the U.S. with close proximity to a major airport;
Travel: up to 60% of the time.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Partner with the team to develop and implement sales strategies and tailored value propositions for contractors, engineers, and channel partners.
- Leadership & Sales Enablement: Train, mentor, and lead an inside sales team; conduct product training programs and promote value‑based selling.
- Revenue, Demand Management: Manage quotes, pricing, and critical performance metrics; analyze sales data and lead demand creation for key products.
- Customer & Field Engagement: Provide product expertise, maintain relationships with key customers and distributors, and represent nVent at industry events.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Partner with Marketing, Product Management, Finance, and Operations to align initiatives with business objectives. - Sales Operations: Use CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to lead opportunity pipeline and share feedback internally.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data, uncover trends, and identify improvement opportunities.
- 5+ years of technical product sales experience in electrical or industrial markets, with grounding and bonding knowledge.
- Experience collaborating closely with product development and product management.
- Documented success driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of organization, time management, and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency working remotely and a valid driver’s license.
- Proven CRM (Salesforce) and sales analytics tool expertise.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field is preferred.
- Experience in B2B industrial or electrical product sales.
- Familiarity with channel sales and distribution networks.
Pay is a total target cash amount comprising base salary and sales incentive opportunity, varied by geographic region.
