Retail Customer Service

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them with their shopping needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude will be key in creating a welcoming environment. You will also play sales through product demonstrations and upselling techniques.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing store through effective merchandising and stocking practices.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and encourage purchases.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in stock management.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support sales initiatives by upselling products based on customer needs and preferences.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries via phone.

• Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Experience in merchandising and stocking within a grocery store or similar retail environment is preferred.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a wider range of customers.
• Ability to demonstrate products effectively, showcasing features that meet customer needs.
