Retail Store Management Trainee – 2472 role at First Cash
. This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in fast-tracking into a Store Management position. A minimum of 1 year retail management experience is required. Pay range: $18.50 to $25.00 per hour
.

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, including cash drawer and merchandise handling, ensuring procedures protect assets.
• Maintain asset protection through inventory control, safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans.
• Administer store processes, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and reporting.
• Analyze store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development; communicate store mission and profit objectives to employees.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge and, when needed, act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, climbing, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work across multiple locations as needed and have a flexible retail schedule (weekends/holidays).
• Store Manager Trainee will work 45+ hours per week; hours vary by business needs.
• Computer literate with POS systems and standard office equipment; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills; cash handling experience; ability to work independently.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Store Manager Trainees may earn 2-8% commission based on personal gross profit, with details provided during the interview. Payrates will not be below applicable local minimum wage requirements.
