OverviewThe overall mission of the Store Manager is to lead the Lens Crafters organization, deliver key performance indicators, and ensure flawless execution of the customer experience. The Store Manager integrates the brand story with daily operations, drives store performance, and elevates the patient and customer experience.
Responsibilities- Ensure the Lens Crafters team provides unsurpassed customer service.
- Provide training and coaching to the team using company‑provided programs.
- Analyze reports to create and implement action plans that improve store KPIs, including NPS, % sales to plan, customer count, complete pair, labor, training saturation, exam growth, and other metrics.
- Attract and hire a highly engaged team to ensure the store has the right people in the right place at the right time.
- Partner with the Doctor of Optometry to elevate the customer and patient experience and drive store KPIs.
- Guide the team to execute all operational, inventory, and visual tasks to guidelines flawlessly, ensuring the best customer and patient experience.
- Implement and maintain all company‑approved safety programs per standards to keep the workplace safe and fun.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 4+ years of management or supervisory experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of operations, processes, and business implications.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills.
- Team‑building and management skills.
- Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Sales skills.
- Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
- Ability to manage time under aggressive deadlines.
- College degree or equivalent.
- State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO certification in non‑licensed states.
- Lens Crafters Final Inspector certification.
- Lens Crafters Quality, Fitting and Adjusting Program.
- Previous experience in customer service and retail.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- High level of business acumen, including detailed knowledge of the Lens Crafters dashboard.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
