GRILL COOK (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Location:

RTX – 8801 Macon Road, Columbus, GA 31820. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Full time and part time; days and hours may vary (examples: 6:00 am‑2:00 pm or 6:00 am‑11:00 am). Specifics will be discussed during the interview.

Pay Range: $15.00–$16.50 per hour.

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high‑quality food service.

• Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation; completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers efficiently and friendly following established steps, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive.
• Tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established ticket‑collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas following standard wrapping, dating and food‑safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports relevant information to supervisor.
• Attends in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Prior grill cook experience required.
