Nurse Practitioner – $10,000.00 Sign‑On Bonus (Limited Time)

Valley Healthcare System, Inc., formerly known as Community Health Center of South Columbus, has been delivering medical, dental, outreach, behavioral health, and pharmacy services since August 1994. Originally a small service in Baker Village, we now serve residents throughout the Chattahoochee Valley region.

Our rapidly growing organization seeks an experienced Certified Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about caring for patients. The CNP performs exams and procedures, counsels patients, and treats patients throughout their lifetime in a collaborative partnership with physicians. The position offers a $10,000.00 sign‑on bonus for qualified candidates.

Master of Science degree in nursing. Successful completion of an advanced nurse practitioner education program, accepted by the American Nurses' Association, the Nurses' Association of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, or the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Associates and Practitioners. Holds a certificate as a nurse practitioner in a specialty area of nursing one of the above certifying agents.

Holds a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia and Alabama. Has a minimum of two years of related clinical nursing experience.

• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology and management of acute and chronic patient/family problems.
• High level of analytic ability to concentrate and pay attention to detail.
• Substantial interpersonal skills necessary to instruct patients and their families and to collaborate with health team members and to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

• Salary: $97,139.00 and up, based on experience

Physical Requirements
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift (occasionally exceeding 50 pounds).

• Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous substances, and clinical equipment.
• Must be able to work under stress and maintain flexibility with irregular hours.
• This role is considered high risk for occupational exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
