Shift6 AM – 3 PM, Monday – Friday
What You Will DoThe Senior Supervisor, Material Review Board will lead a cross‑functional team in the segregation, evaluation and disposition of nonconforming materials. The Senior Supervisor will ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards, optimize material usage, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Lead and supported initiatives to increase nonconforming material disposition throughput
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to develop corrective actions where possible to return prior nonconforming materials to the supply chain.
- Implement data‑driven decision‑making to streamline operations and reduce material waste.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards such as AS9100 and FAA requirements by maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
- Enables/encourages training and guidance to team members on MRB procedures and best practices. Supported QMRB level increases for seven of nine quality resource coordinators (QRCs).
- Provided guidance to team members on prioritization of work in support of monthly goals for QN burndown and scrap allotment
- Supplied data to senior leadership on current QN inventory and monthly plans
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality or closely related industrial environment or an Associate's degree and 7 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality or closely related industrial environment
- In absence of a degree, 9 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, materials management, quality or closely related industrial environment
- Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel)
- Knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN
- Prior experience in a team lead/supervisory capacity
- SAP experience
This role is onsite:
Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
