Director of Operations – Manufacturing (Roofing Products)

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Operations to lead and optimize performance across six manufacturing plants producing roofing products. This role is focused on driving process improvement, Six Sigma initiatives, operational efficiency, and increased automation across the network.

• Lead project-based process improvements across multiple manufacturing sites
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve safety, quality, and throughput
• Standardize processes and best practices across all facilities
• Improve productivity, cost efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
• Build and develop strong plant leadership teams

• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including multi-site operations
• Continuous manufacturing experience (not 24/7 discrete manufacturing) - ideally in the roofing industry, or similar type of manufacturing process like paper manufacturing, or plastic extrusion
• Strong background in Lean / Six Sigma and process optimization
• Experience implementing automation and advanced manufacturing technologies
• Proven track record of improving efficiency, safety, and quality metrics
• Excellent leadership and change management skills
