• Materials – Production Control Team Member reporting to a Materials Manager for the Columbus Forge Disk Mod Center in Columbus, GA.
• Support Materials Managers and shop floor control technicians to enable critical part flow through operations for customer deliveries.
• Track cell commitments, communicate schedules, throughput and delivery needs. Streamline flow, visual incoming/outgoing and milk run schedules in a lean/CORE environment.
• Plan, execute and report area goals. Manage cell quality hold areas to free product downstream.
• Work weekend shift (Fri–Sun 6:30 a – 6:30 p).
• Perform data entry, generate reports and manage priorities with tight deadlines.
• Use PC-based information systems (SAP and Microsoft products).
• Collaborate with all levels of employees, management and customers.
• Motivate teams to set and accomplish goals and apply continuous improvement principles.

• HS Diploma or GED.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• 1 year as material handler.
• Forklift experience.
• Experience in SAP manufacturing Make‑to‑Order environment.
