Maintenance Custodian Associate at Sam's Club

Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The maintenance custodian role supports a clean and safe facility experience for members and associates, including keeping parking lots clean, restrooms pristine, and floors well maintained. This position requires standing and moving on the job and maintaining a positive attitude to ensure a great member experience.

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines. Perform safety sweeps, assist with forklift safety, handle and dispose of hazardous materials properly, follow company guidelines, and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as needed, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of recyclables and trash per the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders when stock is low.

Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the facility and respond to maintenance needs to support a positive member experience.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in certain circumstances.
