Must-Have:
First time travelers accepted.
Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing the contract.
Two supervisory references are highly preferred for submission.

Description:

Unit details include weekend and on-call requirements.
Call is required once a week and one weekend every four weeks, subject to change based on departmental needs.
Floating within facility and to the main operating room may be required as needed.
Travelers can expect to work major holidays if they occur during their assignment period.
If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it.
If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays.
Travelers are expected to work two out of three major holidays if all three occur during the assignment period.
Full compliance is required to start on time.
If not compliant in time, the start date may be pushed back by two weeks.
Minimum experience required is two years.
Experience in various surgical procedures, including cardiovascular/thoracic procedures, is preferred.
Candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine clinical fit before being submitted for final decision.
Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily census and number of visits per day are variable.
Interdisciplinary support is available in the unit.
The traveler may float within the facility and to the main OR as needed.
Patient ratios are expected to be manageable, with one patient at a time.
