Patient Population:
Infants to geriatrics (primarily adult RRT but will work with pediatric intubated patients)
Certifications
Required:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, GA RRT License
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: a level 2 trauma center, interventional stroke certified as well as a level 3 NICU. Our NICU is also the regional transport resource. Manages non invasive ventilation, conventional ventilation, aerosol therapy, bedside pulmonary function tests, performs arterial lines, oxygen management, patient education, performs arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, draws from lines. Trauma experience required.
Pulmonary function testing (Spirometry testing) preferred. Unit Systems:
Epic, Pyxis, SBAR, Viasys Vela, GE Carescape, Viaysis Avea. Scrub Color:
Slate Gray. RTO: MAX 7 days. Weekends:
Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere. Floating:
Yes, within facility and sister campus as needed. Call Requirements:

If one major holiday falls in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it; if two major holidays fall, the traveler works both; if three major holidays fall, the traveler works two. Major Holidays listed include:
New Year’s Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day.
Compliance:
Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule.
