Schedule:

12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
Highlights:
Adult and geriatric patient population with a wide range of medical-surgical diagnoses
32-bed unit with average daily census of 29 patients
Epic EMR experience required;
Pyxis and SBAR also utilized
13-week assignment with 36 hours of orientation
Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
First-time travelers accepted with minimum 1 year of experience
Requirements:
Active Georgia or Compact RN license in hand at time of application
BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg or Telemetry experience with 1:6 patient ratio
Epic charting system experience required
Proficiency in starting IVs, PICC line management, blood product administration, wound care/wound vac, chest tubes, high flow nasal cannula, and feeding tube care
Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) required
Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
Full compliance documentation required prior to start date
