Overview:
Daily coordination of the activities of the cardiac sonographer staff, technical supervision including maintaining current technical requirements of Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), comprehensive patient care and safety. Work with the manager or supervisor to provide team leadership of the Cardiac Sonography team. Able to provide complex technical care with the use of ultrasound technology for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Monitors patient care delivery and facilitates patient flow.

Education
- Graduate of registry approved ultrasound program or equivalent experience according to IAC Required
- Must meet requirements of highest leveled Cardiac Sonography Technologist at the assigned entity Required
- 5 years of related experience as a hospital inpatient or outpatient / ambulatory cardiac sonographer Preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS). Credential in echocardiography in one of the following:
Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS Required - Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) Required
