Position  staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Functions within the framework of the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. Responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.

Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes, maintain standards of practice, and coordinate patient care activities.

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred:
  One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting for PRN positions.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred:
  Advanced certification in specialty field, if applicable.
