The Center provides long-term skilled nursing care and short-term post-acute rehabilitation, including a 30-bed ventilator unit. Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) work under the direction and supervision of RNs and LPNs to enhance the residents' experience by providing basic nursing care.

• Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Feeding, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming of residents

• Transferring residents while ensuring health, comfort, and safety

• Documents all care provided

• Reports changes in resident's status to primary nurse.

• Performs advanced functions including vital signs, skin health, and promotion of wound healing.

• Uphold integrity by following professional standards, Pyramid Health policies and procedures, and compliance with relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

• Maintaining active CNA & CPR/BLS certifications

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited program

• Active GA CNA Certification on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Minimum Experience

• Ability to enter information into an electronic health record (EHR)

• Basic medical terminology

Required Skills

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

• Basic computer skills to include data entry.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
